Primary kids enjoy free time with the chalkboard and painting. On Hike day kids went to a nice picnic area at the Dungeness Wildlife refuge.
In Discovery Class kids built a “Block Community”, an imaginary village of flowery, feathery block houses made by individual students. They also did math with pattern blocks, looked at nature samples through a microscope and just hung around at recess.
Adventure class kids love free creative play during adventure time!
The Explorer Class enjoyed our first ever Fall backpacking trip into the Olympic National Forest. We had perfect weather and the students had a great time observing the last of the salmon run just outside of our campsite.
