Black History, Frost & Owls
News from Cultural Arts
In Cultural Arts we are learning about Black history through art, poetry and music. We are learning music connected to the civil rights movement, a jazz standard and a song set to Langston Hughes poem Dream Keeper. For our artist we are teaming up with fiber arts and studying Bisa Butler. Bisa Butler is an incredible quilter, while we’re not quilting we are using her work as inspiration for multi-media portraits. We can’t wait to share the finished product with you all!

The Owl!
